Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels

Just this year on January 1st, 4Rivers Equipment introduced paid “Volunteer Time Off” (VTO) in hopes to incentivize our employees to be active in their community by volunteering; while they get paid for it! Since the release of this VTO program, we have seen many of our employees from all of our 15 stores take a day to volunteer in their community.

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud held their “Meals of 4th” annual charity auction and fundraiser on June 12, 2019. With several local restaurants, coffee house and breweries, live music and various auctions, it was a sold out event with over 200 attendees filling the streets of downtown Loveland, Colorado; and some of our Fort Collins crew were there to help volunteer.

4Rivers is proud to have such caring and giving employees. To take the day off to help out in their community really shows the kinds of people who work for 4Rivers Equipment. The VTO program is a win-win situation for both the local charity and community and our employees. Thank you to Andrew, Brad, and Sam for volunteering.

The entire event went perfectly and it was great night on 4th street in downtown Loveland. A lot of money was raised to help with the local Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud and everyone is excited for the next one.
